some of the EAstern Euro staff were efficient but did not have the customer relation touch you would expect from local staff ! a bit "cold" in their dealings verbally. we were in a main road side room, which had a lot of traffic noise, but we heard of somebody who complained about the railway noise at the rear, so we were "lucky". It was convenient for the tram which was just over the road, breakfast was good quality. room oldish but OK

Top Tip
The Guiness tour was great, worth the time, we only stayed for two nights so did not get to see everything, O Neil's pub was worth a visit, for food and atmosphere.

Booked 3 rooms at this hotel, one was on the railway line, with no air con, the other two were the other side of the hotel, on different floors, with no iron! The hotel leaks lots of it is raining.

There is a massive building being built right behind the hotel, and the workmen start at 7 am. Our friends stayed in a front facing room and being on a road it was noisy, the real issue was that the room was so hot you had to open the window so the noise kept them awake all night. The hotel is boiling hot and we were told the heating cannot be changed. The reception staff were all miserable, in fact the only happy staff member was the concierge. I slept less on this holiday than I do at home!! I would not go back

Giunness factory great, Jamesons not so good. Open top bus tour very informative. Go to the Quay pub and have a few pints of the black stuff and listen to the traditional music its fab!! The Quay restaurant is fab more traditional Irish food, not cheap but very good

The hotel itself wasn't too bad, however, it was basically located on the train tracks of Connolly Station. It you desire a peaceful stay, this isn't the hotel for you. Multiple trains ran right next to our room and there was no avoiding them or the sounds/ vibrations.Maybe the hotel should prepare guests and alert them to the fact that they will be staying on top of train tracks!

i would recommend this hotel, but cleanliness needs more attention in this hotel especially bathroom.Another thing is room was very noisy as we had a trains coming every few mins behind our window, which wasnt very pleasant, so next time i wont agree to have a room on the side where railway is. everything is very close to the hotel.

Top Tip
Recomend to see Guiness superstore!also bars at the temple bar area.
